About this piece
Product details
A custom pet portrait from your photo, rendered in a whimsical gouache-and-acrylic style that captures your companion lost in a cozy reading moment. Lounging on a plush floor cushion in soft lavender-and-white pinstriped pajamas, your pet tilts its head down toward an open storybook filled with tiny dragons, fairies, and hand-lettered folk-art charm. The illustration unfolds in flat, playful naive style—soft pastels of pink, lavender, peach, and cream layer across a busy, dreamy background scattered with stars, hearts, teapots, and little books. A steaming ceramic mug sits nearby, completing the scene of quiet, contented escape.
This portrait arrives as a stretched canvas, poster, framed canvas or framed poster, each substrate lending its own warmth to the soft, imperfect textures of the gouache-style artwork. It's the kind of piece that turns a hallway or bedroom wall into a moment of joy—a reminder of the gentle, imaginative soul curled up at home with a good book.

Questions
Frequently asked

This piece comes in every medium listed under Available in. You choose the medium, frame and size on your personalised piece, after your free preview. Each format's specifications are under Product details. For a custom size or framing option, email hello@geisti.com with what you have in mind and we'll let you know whether it's possible.
What materials do you use?
Each format is matched to a method that suits it: archival giclée paper for fine-art prints, gallery-grade canvas for stretched and framed pieces, matte poster paper for everyday pieces. Specifics for each format show under Product details.
How long until my piece arrives?
Production runs 2–5 business days for most formats; framed canvases and oversized prints can take up to 7. After production, US transit takes 3–5 business days. Full breakdown on the shipping policy page.
What photo works best?
One clear photo in natural or window light, close enough to show the face, the features, or a pet's coat. A phone photo from the last few years is plenty. Avoid busy shots with several subjects competing for attention. A single, well-lit close-up gives the studio the most to work with, and you can always try another in the preview.
Can I return a piece I don’t love?
Because every piece is custom-made from your uploaded photo, we can't accept returns for change of mind, so review the preview carefully before checkout. If your piece arrives damaged, email hello@geisti.com within 14 days of delivery with your order number and a photo of the damage, and we replace it free of charge. Details on the refund policy page.
