About Geisti
Geisti is a studio for images of the moment: the photo on your phone right now, made into something worth living with. We take a picture you love and compose it into a considered, made-to-order portrait, printed and finished as a piece you hang on the wall.
What we care about is the small thing that happens when an image moves from a screen into the room: it becomes part of how you live. The cat asleep on the rug. The light through the kitchen window. The studio exists to make that move feel ordinary.
How the studio works
Every piece is custom, and it begins with you.
- You send a photo you love. A pet on the windowsill, a face you want to keep close, a moment you don't want to lose. You choose the style and the format, whether that is a framed print, a matte canvas, or a stretched canvas.
- The studio composes your portrait. We interpret your photo through the style you picked, an oil-painting-style rendering or one of the other ways of seeing in the catalog, and prepare it at full resolution. You see the finished result on the page before you order. Nothing goes into production until you approve it.
- We make it, finish it, and ship it. Your piece is printed to order on materials chosen for the long term, framed where the format calls for it, and sent to you. Shipping within the United States is free.
Our promise
We want you to love the piece before it is ever made. That is why you see the full preview and approve it before anything goes into production, so the portrait that arrives is the one you signed off on. If something is not quite right, you can keep refining until it feels right.
Once a piece is approved and made, it is yours alone, printed individually for your order, so we cannot take it back for a change of heart. What we will always do is stand behind the work: if your piece arrives damaged, with a printing defect, or different from what you ordered, we replace it free of charge. Reach us at hello@geisti.com within fourteen days of delivery and we will make it right.
What the studio stands for
We believe a portrait should feel considered, not mass-produced, even when it is made for one person at a time. So we keep the catalog small and the craft honest: every piece is made to order from a photo you choose, printed on materials meant to last, and finished with the care a curator would give it. We treat the photos you trust us with as personal, used only to make your piece and never resold or republished.
